A reporter for Alex Jones’ media organization, InfoWars, was gunned down in a parking lot of his Austin apartment complex.
What’s going on: According to police in Austin, Texas, Jamie White, a reporter for Alex Jones’s InfoWars, was shot and killed late Sunday night outside his apartment complex in what authorities believe was a botched car burglary. Officers responded to a 911 call at 11:57 p.m. at the Chandelier Apartments on Douglas Street, where they found White suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Police attempted life-saving measures before transporting him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:19 a.m. As of now, no arrests have been made and Austin Police are asking the public for any video footage or information related to the crime.

White’s family does not believe his killing was politically motivated. His sister, Kelly Kneale, told The Independent that the shooting appeared to be a random crime, explaining that White’s car had been broken into before, and this was likely a repeat incident. “I don’t believe it was targeted,” Kneale said.
In contrast, Alex Jones has framed White’s death as part of a larger political issue, blaming progressive policies and Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza, who was elected with backing from a Soros-funded PAC.
Jones referred to White’s death as a “brutal murder” and accused Democrats of fostering crime, stating, “I lay all of this squarely at the feet of these DAs, the Soros crime syndicate, and the Democratic Party.” He vowed that InfoWars would continue White’s work and that his death would not be in vain. Despite these claims, police have not indicated any political motive and continue to investigate the case as a random act of violence.
