An unauthorized civilian aircraft ventured into restricted airspace close to President Biden’s Delaware home Saturday.

The intrusion occurred just after 2 PM, prompting swift action from security agencies. In a statement, Secret Service Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said, “As a precaution, assets were scrambled to intercept and the civilian aircraft safely landed at a nearby airport. In response to the potential threat, a fighter aircraft and a helicopter were dispatched to usher the civilian aircraft out of the restricted zone.
The Secret Service, in collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration, has launched an investigation into the breach.

The incident had no impact on the President’s scheduled activities.
