Two juveniles face charges after a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade resulted in one death and 22 injuries.
The Jackson County Family Court in Missouri has confirmed that the individuals are detained, facing “resisting arrest and ‘gun-related’ penalties,” with the potential for “additional” charges as the investigation unfolds. The release also said that ‘additional’ charges could occur as the probe continues.

Authorities initially detained three suspects, but one was released upon determining their non-involvement. With the search for more suspects ongoing, law enforcement urges the public to contribute any information, directing them to a newly established hotline.
The tragic event claimed the life of a mother of two, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a DJ at local radio station KKFI, and left victims aged between 8 and 47 injured. Kansas City Police Department Chief Stacey Graves stated, “The ages of the victims were between 8 and 47.”
