The leaders of the CIA and Mossad met with Qatar’s Prime Minister in Doha to negotiate a potential deal involving hostage releases and a halt to the conflict in Gaza.

The meeting in Doha, which follows Qatar’s mediation efforts, was a strategic gathering of key intelligence leaders—CIA Director William Burns, Mossad Chief David Barnea, and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani. They aimed to expedite a potential agreement, focusing on the conditions of a ceasefire and the well-being of the Gaza population, including the crucial matter of humanitarian aid access.

Amid the negotiations, one proposal reportedly on the table was the exchange of 10-15 hostages for a short-term humanitarian ceasefire.
