The Ukraine Defense Ministry has publicly addressed its critics, particularly from the US, with a firm message: “We need ammunition, not advice.”

Following recent scrutiny from US officials regarding Kyiv’s counteroffensive strategy, the Ukrainian ministry took to the platform X, formerly Twitter, to express its standpoint. The post read, “It seems like everyone is now an expert on Ukrainian warfare… Thanks all the same. But we need ammunition, not advice.”
This comment comes in the backdrop of American suggestions urging Kyiv to divert its focus southwards towards Melitopol, claiming the current distribution of troops and resources is inefficient.
New aid to Ukraine:
Earlier this week, the Biden administration announced another financial commitment of $250 million for lethal aid to support Ukraine. According to the Pentagon, the United States has provided $43 billion in total lethal assistance to the country.
