President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid have signed a joint declaration that commits to preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

While in Jerusalem, President Biden signed the declaration that states the United States and Israel would “use all elements of national power” to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

In remarks following the signing of the declaration, President Biden reiterated that he believes diplomacy is the best way to prevent Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon but did acknowledge that the window of diplomacy was slowly closing. President Biden also reiterated his “guarantee” to provide security of Israel.
