President Biden announced his intention to actively campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris in key states following his decision not to seek reelection.

What’s the deal: According to President Biden, he plans to campaign for Vice President Harris in Pennsylvania and other key states that will likely determine the results of the 2024 election. As of right now, the President has yet to step out on the campaign trail since announcing his support for Harris.

What Biden said: During an interview with CBS, President Biden said, “I was talking to [Pennsylvania] Gov. Shapiro, who’s a friend…he and I are putting together a campaign tour in Pennsylvania. I’m going to be campaigning in other states as well. And I’m going to do whatever Kamala thinks I can do to help most.”

Biden comments on health & dropping out:  When asked about his health and enactment following the debate with President Trump that ultimately resulted in him dropping out, President Biden said, “Look, I had a really, really bad day in that debate because I was sick. But I have no serious problem.
