According to authorities in Massachusetts, a man has been arrested after a stabbing incident at an AMC movie theater south of Boston left four girls injured. The same suspect is believed to be connected to another attack at a McDonald’s restaurant in Plymouth that injured two people.

The Braintree Police Department reported that the man entered the AMC in Braintree without a ticket around 6 PM local time on Saturday and stabbed four girls, aged 9 to 17. The girls were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, dressed in “an oversized trench coat, sunglasses, and a long blonde wig, then fled the scene in a black SUV. Authorities were able to track him down after using surveillance footage and apprehended him in the nearby city of Plymouth.  

The suspect, who has not yet been officially named but we have identified as Jared Ravizza, is also linked to a murder investigation in Deep River, Connecticut. He was previously described as armed and dangerous, potentially carrying a 10-inch knife. Police have not yet released information on the charges he will face.
