President Donald Trump has made a post calling for the arrest of former President Barack Obama.

Getting into it: In a screenshotted post on Truth Social, Trump posted the following caption, “Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has just released HUNDREDS OF BOMBSHELL RUSSIAGATE DOCUMENTS proving that Barack Obama personally ordered CIA agents to manufacture false intelligence on President Trump and was actively‘working with the enemy’ to undermine and erode Americans’ confidence in our democracy and President Trump’sLANDSLIDE 2016 VICTORY. This was a coup attempt by Barack Hussein Obama and his cronies.” The post ended with“ARREST OBAMA NOW!”

The timing of the post is notable, coming just one day after the FBI executed a warrant at a polling center in Fulton County, Georgia, where agents seized documents related to the 2020 election. People close to Trump have argued that the raid reinforces broader allegations of systemic election interference and misconduct.

Among those at the scene was Tulsi Gabbard, who, as Director of National Intelligence, oversees America’s foreign intelligence operations. Her presence has fueled questions about whether the DOJ investigation could involve foreign governments.
