Ukraine’s first lady has arrived in the United States for high-profile appearances with US Lawmakers and first lady Jill Biden.

Today, Ukraine’s first lady Olena Zelenska met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, where she discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine. In a statement, State Department spokesman Ned Price said Secretary Blinken “assured Ukraine’s first lady the United States commitment to Ukraine.”

Following the meeting with Secretary Blinken, First lady Zelenska met with Samantha Power (the head of the US Agency of International Development). Administrator Powers is in charge of the agency that has given billions of dollars to Ukraine since the war broke out.

Tomorrow, Zelenska is scheduled to meet with first lady Jill Biden at the White House. Following the meeting, the two will attend an event at the White House, where she will address congressional lawmakers.
